GREAT root beer. You can usually find it at Whole Foods.

I discovered a tasty snack recently - a grilled Philly soft pretzel.
- Take a Philly soft pretzel out of the plastic wrapping and cut it in half LENGTH-WISE (that is, stick the knife in the side of pretzel when it's laying flat on a surface and cut it in half so you have a top and a bottom to the pretzel). - Gently brush butter over the inside parts of the two pretzel pieces - NOT the outside, harder parts of the two pretzel pieces - Lather some butter onto a grilling surface - Grill pretzel pieces butter-side down on grill until toasty warm and slightly browned.
Literally, fucking delicious and even better than a cold, regular Philly soft pretzel.
I have a freezer full of them. I must try this.

I think it's a shame that the competitiveness around having killer tunes seems to have disappeared from large parts of the dance music scene.
I can appreciate that. agreed. Remember these days: "What the fuck is that?!?!" "I can't tell you. All I can tell you is that it's only available on the double-pack promo."

"Justified," which just started a week or two back (third episode this week), is exceptional; I highly recommend it. Tim Olyphant (sp?), of Deadwood fame, and Shane from "The Shield" (another great show) both star and I have to say that their roles fit their acting styles very well. I actually wonder if they're actually acting or just being themselves (I have no doubt that Shane is a mega-racialist). Other than that, "Treme" starts up over on this side of the pond in the middle of April. That's David Simon's new show - based in New Orleans - and if it's half as good as "The Wire" it will be the best thing on the small screen by a country mile. I can't fucking wait for Treme!!!!!
Also I'm really enjoying Pacific on HBO. Great look at the S. Pacific side of WWII.
