I'm with TBOE here, what does it matter whether he is gay or not? It makes no difference to his policies or abilty to do his positioned role - waste of paper in my opinion - more important things in the world to concentrate on
And tonight something equally epoch-making is taking place. See? They're applauding the DJ. Not the music, not the musician, not the creator, but the medium. This is it. The birth of rave culture. The beatification of the beat. The dance age. This is the moment when even the white man starts dancing. Welcome to Manchester. - Steve Coogan as Tony Wilson in 24Hr Party People

Personally I'm gutted that Mohammed Amir is more than likely never going to play cricket again as I think he's going to be a truly outrageous bowler. Of course, a life ban is only right if found guilty but it must be fairly easy to tempt an 18yr old boy with tales of riches, especially with all the drama and turmoil that goes on in the Pakistan cricket camp. Heard one analyst saying the Pakistan management feel they have let him down by giving him the opportunity to be surrounded by this. A massive loss to cricket that this type of story is back but I think the loss of Amir is huge for the game too!

I speak pretty decent French (or I could a couple of years ago) and they best way to learn is defo to immerse yourself in the language and culture. As someone else said, don't be afraid to make mistakes, talk to everyone and you'll be surprised by how quick you pick things up!

Back to the actual cat-in-the-bin, what excuse can anyone possibly have for doing it? Absolute scum in my eyes, lowest of the low!

I know people who both live and have rented appartment just for the weekend at The Light, which is just down te road in the northern quarter - max 5min walk. Abode and Malmaison are literally seconds away

Anyone got any recommendations for a budget of about £600? (£700 would be absolute upper limits). would be used mainly for browsing, streaming music, occasional ableton use, watching films etc

Would this be a good buy for the money considering it's an i3 processor, HD etc?

How about paying 70euros to get into space albeit with a large lineup or about 40euros upward for most of nights in Ibiza? Absolute joke!! Do know a few lads involved in that night but £25 does sound far too high - think the Fabric example is a good one - regularly big lineups but decent prices
