i dont know bang the acid, so cant comment.

but i do know acid eiffel, which i love, but it doesnt even come close.

in acperience, there's about a million different acid lines fluttering and tweaking away, fighting with each other to hit the listener.

acid eiffel has 1 acid line, thru loads of delay. yawn.

i was told (by matthew b - who knows about these things) that they had 8 or 9 303's running at the same time durring the climax of the tune. must have been a fucking nightmare of a record to get right back in 1992.

Possibly my favouritest ever dancey tune. I love Hardfloor massively, especially because every single tune they've made since Acperience is basically just Acperience again, and therefore brilliant.

They're playing in London again in May. 2 man down

I've just listened to Acperience 2, 3, 4 and 5. None of them come close to 1 though.

Can anyone tell me who the bloke talking on the phone to a record label at the start of 'Trancescript' is? Is it Kenny Larkin?

Immense breakdown in that tune as well.

Oh man I have a great video of Hardfloor live from last year.

Where is a good place to download a freeware mpeg video encoder (something that's like the LAME of video)?

Interesting fact that - kinda makes sense when you listen to it.

First time I heard this Chris Coco played it in the Zap and it blew my mind!

It is a very good acid track but doesnt come near to alot of the early chicago bits.

As for D'julz Acid tricks.?? the loop in that track is nicked from an old acid classic.

heres some of the best acid imo..

there's another one i like more.

oh yeah, mike dearborn - "birds on e". most brutal acid tune ever. shits all over the lot of them.

another contender: emmanuel top - acid phase. sublime back in the days. far outshone that hardfloor track...

as i think you know kleo, i'm a big fan of early acid - all the tracks you mentioned and a few others on top. but i still feel that with that record hardfloor perfected the chicago formula. plus they added some early 90's know how, a big fuck off breakdown and that killer drum roll. perfect record really and for me the ultimate acid track. the only reason people like yourself won't admit it is cos their from germany and not chicago.

not having a pop mind - it's just that i've had these conversations before and that's my conclusion. see you tomorrow - we'll have have a beer, talk about it and end up back at square one again.

I've said it before mate, its a great track,I loved it when it came out and still do. Its very very easy to perfect a formula once its set in place.

Those chicago originators were doing it 5 or 6 years before everyone else, for me acid house is about rawness and not clean cut production techniques. I wont admit its the best acid track simply because its not,not by a long shot mate.. It has nothing whatsoever to do with where it was made mate..you should know that I am a big fan of dutch and german techno, some of the finest acid has come from there.
To be honset I'm sure I could think of at least another 20-30 acid tracks that I think are better...much better. wheres your child?
